welcome to THE GREAT MILLSITE CHUB SCRUB!
Join the Millsite Chub Scrub — a summer-long fishing challenge focused on removing invasive chub from Millsite State Park Reservoir in Ferron, Utah! From June 1 through October 10, anglers can catch and submit chub photos for a chance to win AMAZING PRIZES! Every chub submitted earns one ticket into the grand prize drawing held during the Challenge Finale Single Day Tournament on October 10th. Although you don't have to register for the Finale Tournament you do have to be present to win, or assign a representative that will be present by emailing their name to us prior to October 9th to [email protected].
Participants can submit their catches by photographing their chub laid out so they are easy to count, then doing one of the following:
That's it! Your timestamp confirms when and where your catch was recorded. Make sure all chub are clearly visible and countable in the photo before submitting as you do receive a ticket for EACH chub you catch!
After submitting your photo, please take ALL Chub home!
The October 10th finale tournament is $35 per fisher and will feature cash prizes, drawings, and a fun day on the water. REGISTER BELOW.
The goal of the challenge is to remove as many invasive chub as possible to help improve the quality of fishing at Millsite Reservoir. Please DO NOT RETURN live chub to the lake. Catch. Submit. Scrub!

- Email your photo:
- Open the photo in your phone's camera roll and tap on it to reveal the date and time stamp at the top of the screen.
- Screenshot that view so the timestamp is visible in the image.
- Email your screenshot to [email protected] with the number of chub and the word "CHUB" in the subject line.
- Posting your photo in the comments of the POST YOUR CHUB HERE pinned post on the Millsite Chub Scrub Facebook Event page
- Posting on Instagram using hashtag #millsitechubscrub
